I didn’t participate in last week’s photo challenge “Off Season”, the first I missed in a long while. To make up for it I’m putting in a second photo to this week’s challenge relating to the colours of the rainbow.
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.
I like to photograph the rainbow patterns made by oil on wet tarmac.
Sometimes I might see an image in the pattern and play with the image in Mypaint.
These are amazing! Who would think to look for a rainbow in a grease spill?
Thank you ๐ Everyday on my walk to the metro I pass some garage, where plenty of oil is spilled. If it has been raining I will see many such rainbows. Putting the photo on the computer I will bump up the saturation to bring out the rainbow hues.
Great idea…
Please come see mine and tell me what you think about :

wow! very unique way of interpreting the topic for this week. ๐
Hey Jim…
Clever work with an oil spill-
on the serious side, is there regulation to minimize the “plenty of oil” problem to keep flow from entering the storm drains and on into your nearby rivers?

I don’t think Georgia is that advanced yet.
Haha, well if you don’t live near the birds of paradise, then why not create one of your own?!
Creative!
Very creative, looking in overlooked places.
