For this challenge, rather than take fresh photos, I used two earlier intriguing photos of interesting shadows.
The young man wasn’t aware of me, I wonder if he was aware of his shadow. This was taken outside Tavisuplebis Metro in central Tbilisi. In front of him is the #14 bus adorned with some full bus advertisement.
This is my grand daughter, Elene, I was intrigued by the apparent shadow of Mickey Mouse behind her. The Disney Corporation is the background of many childhoods.
The capture of the “ballerina” is terrific!
Thanks, I was pleased and surprised with the capture.
Love the ballerina but can’t see how the shadow in the other photo can be of your granddaughter.Could it be you?
Could be π
Love these, Jim. You have a good eye and a super sense of humor π

Thanks, I’m glad you love my pictures.
superbly seen – what an elegance the ballerina has
Love the shadow of Disney. How true! The latest shadow for many children is the movie Frozen and the characters. Is it big where you are?
I have granddaughters , 2 and 6, they watch Frozen on the computer…it is quite big here but not as big as “Hello Kitty”….
The Disney, so ominousβ¦the ballerinaβ¦was he shooting garbage (ala a basketball player) into the garbage can in front of him?
he could have been shooting garbage, I was more focused on the shadow….the pose does look like a basketball pose….
Both pictures are amazing.
The young man should have been a fan of Degas.
In the second one, the shadow obviously comes from an other subject. Is that right ?
You are quite right, in the second photo, I am holding a Minnie Mouse soft toy…the big eared shadow being almost a Disney trademark…
